About Winnie

Hey, hey! I'm Winnie. I'm a photographer based in Annapolis, MD, serving the Baltimore, MD, Northern Virginia, and Washington DC areas. With a big love for capturing special moments in various life stages, I specialize in family, maternity, newborn, birth, and high school senior photography. I'm also available to travel!

My distinctive style is a blend of natural and organic elements, creating photographs that are colorful, soft, moody, and filled with light. My genuine approach to photography shines through, reflecting a deep appreciation for the beauty found in authentic moments. By focusing on love and connection, I craft images that encapsulate the emotions and stories of the subjects she photographs.

The weather hits 38 and all of a sudden, all I can think about are spring sessions 😅
@annapolisareadoulas and I are needing a family who would be interested in a FREE newborn session in exchange of allowing the images to be used for branding.

It is a lifestyle session - and we are looking for a home with a unique and eclectic style. The photos will be moody / film style.

Interested? Send a photo of your family + your space to winnie@winniebrucephotography.com. Ideally we would love to do these photos by the end of the month. Baby must be under 1 month old. Thank you!
I’m so sad to hear that the Lombard street Mel’s diner caught fire overnight. Mel’s was such a favorite late night spot for us specially after punk shows let out late and we needed a bite, and then when we all became parents- it became our meetup spot with the kids for both nostalgia and ease for the littles. A few years ago - at the same Mel’s, I did photos for my very good friends to celebrate their anniversary.

Here’s a reminder that the location of your photos doesn’t have to be some grand location - it can be one that is sentimental and special. Sometimes those make for better images because it pulls from the heart.
